The luxury Solita yacht in Goa

Cruising Goa's waterways is a quintessential carefree experience. And, fortunately, there's no need to be jammed aboard a dime-a-dozen tourist boat with blaring Bollywood music and cultural dance programs. The Solita is a classic 42 foot luxury yacht that's available for private charter, whether you simply want a romantic evening for two or a celebration with close family and friends.

A super relaxing cruise! Our family loved the Dolphin Discovery. We saw lots of dolphins, had a nice swim and a wonderful lunch. It was great to explore Goa by boat. Thank you for everything. Hope to meet again!

I can highly recommend a Sunset Cruise on the Solita! There is nothing that can beat an evening out with friends on a luxury yacht. We had great cocktails, lovely snacks and very smart crew who went out of their way to looked after us.

For large groups—especially those with seniors and children—there can be no treat more special than a private cruise on the 42ft motor yacht Solita. Up to 27 people can experience this luxury with a fully kitted lounge and pantry, and lots of seating on the flybridge, front and rear decks
Love Goa
This luxury 42ft motor yacht is owned by Sucheta and Hans, who have created a world class sailing experience in Goa and offer a wide range of itineraries including a river cruise to Old Goa or an ocean cruise to Fort Tiracol. Romantic dinners for couples can be arranged where the crew leaves after dinner and return to serve breakfast.
Solita, a wooden, Cochin-built yacht sailing since 1993 along Goa’s backwaters and islands was once, the luxury yacht plying the upper end luxury segment here, much before many of the super-rich bought their own beauties. “Nowadays, the market is definitely headed for speed boats and power boats, but the Solita has her fans, and we sail at least thrice a week,” says Sucheta Potnis, who runs Odyssey Tours and Travels with her Dutch husband, Hans Tuinman.
The tradition of chartering goes back well before the acquisition of their own yachts by some big industrialists. Sucheta Potnis and her Dutch husband Hans Tuinman's yacht Solita, which has been plying in Goa for 19 years, has sailed for people such as Amitabh Bachchan and Kokilabhen Ambani. When Solita was acquired in 1993, Potnis says “there were just 10 others, nine of them from Mumbai, who owned yachts in India. It remains a favourite with celebrities for overnight cruises.
