OCEAN CRUISE TO TIRACOL FORT
Timings: 17:00 to 19:00 hours
It is possible to extend the Dolphin Discovery by cruising north along the coast past the beaches of Candolim, Calangute, Anjuna, Vagator, Morjim, Mandrem and Arambol.
Along the way the crew drops anchor in front of one of the beaches to swim and lap up the sun.
In the afternoon you will transfer by small country boat to the 18th-century Portuguese Tiracol Fort, situated at land's end barely a stone's throw from Goa's northern border. The fort has recently been converted into a striking heritage hotel. You can visit the fort and have a late lunch on the terrace overlooking the rugged shoreline. Afterwards you return by country boat back to the Solita.
It is beautiful cruise down the coast against a setting sun. Sunsets in Goa are often spectacular with the afterglow lighting up the sky. When darkness sets in, you cruise back to the jetty at Britona where you disembark.
